It is often asked when one can return to play.Traditional PT sessions have run out and athletes are sometimes left on their own to figure it out. Return to sport training sessions can bridge that gap. Exercises that are often used to assist athletes can be scaled down to a point that is safe and will continue to promote rehab while getting the increased capacity to return.
For example, the new recommended timeline for a surgically repaired ACL is about 1 year. Insurance usually covers 3 to 4 months. So what is the athlete to do the rest of the way? They shouldn’t have to guess. This would be an out of pocket expense due to insurance not covering sessions like this. Contact us to find out more.
